The Tour de France is about to start. The publicity caravan goes first with its hundreds of brightly decorated vehicles. Then come the riders.

It's 8 a.m. We wake-up with a rainbow.

Portsall

Here is a view of the small port of Portsall where we went to the beach last evening (but I took this picture last winter).

Going to the beach

We had such a nice weather today that right after work/school, we drove to the beach near Portsall. At about 25km away from Brest, you'll find many small secluded sandy beaches where it is nice to chill-out after a hard day's work.

Océanopolis

Here is a view of the entrance of Océanopolis aquarium. Océanopolis is the ultimate day out for anyone who has an interest in the sea. It has over fifty aquariums with thousands animals like jellyfish, seals, penguins, sharks...

Baïkal Cafe

The Baïkal Café is a vodka bar located on Glasgow street in the Saint-Martin area. I've not been in yet, but I always enjoy looking at its painted shutters when it's still closed early in the morning.

The Comoedia is an old cinema located on Aiguillon street. It seems it has been closed for quite a while now.

Yesterday we drove to Pointe de l'Armorique to enjoy the view over Brest from the other side of the bay.
